-The Golden Party- Nail Tutorial

The other day I painted my nails, and decieded to do a blog post nail of the day/tutorial for you guys!
This is also the "Nail Tutorial" I'm posting on my collab channel cause I've been so busy packing for my trip!
I can't tell you guys where I'm going yet but when I get back I can! :D
These nails are simple gold with sparkles! Tou could also do all the nails gold and just the ring finger all sparkles. That'd be really cute... I may do that hmmmm.
Anyways heres the easy steps to how I did it...

For the gold base color I used one of the Justin Bieber polishes from Nicole by O.P.I. called Not A Gold Bigger.
I used about 3 coats.

Then I used a sheer coat of Sally Hansen Xtreme nails in Strobe Light.
This took about 2 sheer coats.
This consists of mostly pink sparkles but their basically rainbow.

Review & Demo - Covergirl SmokeyShadowBlast

The Smokey Shadow Blast I'm going to be using is in Bronze Fire. Above is the packaging and stuff :P

Application

The first time I used this product, I didn't use a primer. It felt alittle odd not having something on my eye before the creme shadow. Unless you load it on it probably won't crease. But in my experiance creme shadows wear very quickly. SO I use a primer first.
Then I use the step one side and apply this to my lid. Most of the time I don't blend it out unless the stick doesn't reach the inner corner; in which case I just use my finger.
Next I use the step two side and put it boldly (is that a word?) on the outer crease, and use a dense, flat eye brush to blend it.
And your done!

You can easily add more to make it more dramatic but I like more nautral eye make up for everyday. Also, if you want more of a smokey look, smudge out the liner on the uper lash liner and on the outer lower lash line (or the water line).

Just as a disclaimer - this product was not sent to me for free and I'm not being paid to review it. It was given to me from my mom for Easter. All opinions are my own.

Anyways I really love this because it's a complete eye look and fast and easy. Plus it's creme, so it's better for summer.

I haven't posted in a while, sorry! But guess what, School's out! So I'll try to post more.

Vampire Diaries!

Holy Crap! My best friend, Nicole, got me into this series a couple days ago. And I've only seen season one, so please don;t ruin anything for me... please? *puppy dog face*

Anyways if your a vampire diaries fan you've probably already seen season one so HOW CRAZY WAS THAT SEASON FINALE!? BTW I'm soo Team Stefan, so I was definatly glad that it was Katherine with Damon and not Elena.

Lauren Oliver's Books!

OMG! Laruen Oliver is an amazing writer. The first book I read from her was Before I Fall and that ending completely made me cry :'(

So when I heard she had a second book I ran out to get it. Delirium is a setting of the Future and it's amazing! I'm so excited for the sequel Pandemonium coming out in February 2012. Why so long!? :(

May Favorites: Skin Care, Fashion

Hey Bloggers! I decided I would talk about my favorites for may. Every month I do this on my YouTube channel for anything makeup/beauty related and this month I forgot skincare! So I decided to do skincare on my blog. And since I've been loving a few fashion items lately I'm throwing those in too!
Skincare:
Proactive

I have done a review of proactive here on my blog, but a warning it's not very detailed... apparently I just forget everything. Anyways from the 3 step sytem I've been using 1 and 3 the most. The renewing cleanser is gentle and gets of my face makeup while cleaning my face. Then the repairing lotion treats my acne while giving my face some moisture. I feel like the step 2 (toner) is just kinda useless. Proactive has really been working for my latley and I'm happy to have it.

Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Face Sun Screen

So I mentioned this in my May Favs on YouTube, but I decided it was skincare, so here it is!
I've been using it a lot since it's been so sunny where I live.
Except for today; there was a huge thunderstorm and the power went out!

I've have been LOVING white shorts! They go with everything, and you can make them casual or classy depending what you pair it with.

                                     and ESPRIT Play Fit easy sport shorts (which need all the other colors of cause I LOVE them!!!)
